Multicultural show in Bucharest

The District 3 Mayor’s Office presents the “Multicultural soul in the 3rd District”, which aims to  promote through the young people in Bucharest principles such as friendship, tolerance, equality and free access to culture.

The event will take place starting from 19:30, in Titan Park. No entrance fee.

The concept and the show promoter is Damian Drăghici, complex personality of the musical and artistic world, awarded with a Grammy in 2006 for his music. Next to Damian Drăghici, young and talented musicians, interprets and instrumental singers will be invited to the cultural event, along with famous names of the Romanian music scene: Puya, Delia Matache, Mandinga, Claudia Pavel, Sensor, Romano ButiQ band and Damian & Brothers band.

At the end of the show children from the Ferentari ghetto in Bucharest will be invited on the stage to sing with the artist and his band.  The talented children which severely lack financial resources were selected by the Bright Light Foundation and Policy Center for Roma and Minorities.

The project is an original concept of the Bright Light Foundation and has as partners: Policy Center for Roma and Minorities, the REACT campaign, the European Comission and ONGFest.
