The High Commissioner on National Minorities from OSCE in Bucharest

Dl Kurt Vollebaek, Înaltul Comisar al Organizației pentru Securitate și Cooperare în Europa (OSCE), a participat la o masă rotundă cu reprezentanți ai sectorului societății civile care se ocupă de problemele romilor. Discuția a avut loc la Clubul de Educație Alternativă din cadrul Școlii nr. 136 din cartierul Ferentari din Capitală, și s-a concentrat pe Situația Romilor în România: Provocări ale Procesului de Integrare.

2011 Call for Internships – Young Roma Professionals

(English) Policy Center for Roma and Minorities, with support from the European Union, launches the second call for internship positions for young Roma professionals. As part of the European pilot awareness raising campaign REACT – Make Europe a better place for Roma, Policy Center invests in young Roma who are interested in the fields of active citizenship, development, education, social inclusion and Roma communities.

3rd International FIBA Minibasketball Tournament

(English) December 23, 2010 – The Romanian Basketball Federation together with Policy Center for Roma and Minorities organized the 3rd International FIBA Minibasketball Tournament under the logo “Love basketball! No racism! No violence!“. The tournament (21st – 23rd of December) was part of “REACT! Make Europe an equal place for Roma” campaign and was done in partnership with The National Authority for Sport and Youth.
