Objectives:
  • Combating negative attitudes towards the Roma minority by creating a documentary about the
    vulnerable community of Ferentari
  • Promoting social inclusion of the Roma and non-Roma children from the community through non-formal
    education
Results:
  • 300 Roma and non-Roma children from the vulnerable community of Ferentari have benefited of a
    remedial and non-formal education program in the Alternative Education Club (a program created in
    the elementary school no. 136, in an innovative and friendly space, which aimed to promote social
    inclusion and change the negative attitudes towards the Roma and non-Roma children from
    disadvantaged communities)
  • Creating a documentary about the living conditions in the disadvantaged community of Ferentari, with
    the support of the director Alexander Nanau.
